How Screen Goniophotometry works
Unlike conventional systems that require slow, sequential photometer scans, the screen goniophotometer uses a precisely calibrated reflective screen in combination with an LMK imaging luminance measurement camera. The device under test (DUT) rotates around two axes within the LMT goniometer, while the LMK captures the spatial light distribution in one or a few exposures. Advanced software automatically stitches multiple image sections into a complete Luminous Intensity Distribution (LID) map, using reference points to ensure high geometrical accuracy.
